I love Valentines Day even though I know its totally commercialized and everything is over priced. Maybe its because I'm a hopeless romantic and I LOVE love; showing it, writing it and giving it in all of its chocolatey forms!
For the backdrop, I found these white and red heart shaped doilies that I strung on a piece of white twine and taped in the back to secure. To add a pop of red to my white dish ware, I used them under platters as well. I found the glittery hearts-on-a-stick at the dollar tree and added them to the plants normally on my table.

Most of the things I found were those cute seasonal Valentines items, like these Little Debbie cakes that are heart shaped.

This post has seriously inspired me to decorate my house for V-day! I love how everything looks incredibly, but also that it was deceptively simple and affordable. Another place where I have seen some GREAT and inexpensive decorations is the $1 spot when you first walk into Target.
ReplyDeleteSuper cute, I love the heart banners and Lindor milk chocolate truffles are the best!!!
