I've been getting a lot of questions about the accent wall I recently did in my office revamp. Even though it looks intricate and very time consuming, its only time consuming. I was actually planning on hand stenciling the entire wall, but after three hours and an aching back I decided the center area was just fine.
- A laminated piece of card stock
- A Silhouette or Cricut
- Martha Stewart pearl white paint
- A (ultra high quality) $.60 black sponge
- Painters tape
- Time and lots of it
First, create a stencil using your awesome cutting machine. Then tape it to the wall, pencil in the exterior lines and continue tracing the entire wall (part of the wall.)
Make sure to skip every other one to give the wet one dry time. Remove the stencil to see how you did, quickly clean any bleed marks.
