One of my new favorite places to get inspiration for my new house is the gorgeous home of my friend Kara. She chose a neutral wall color that's making a huge comeback: white. From the second you walk into her home it feels open and airy. I think the light wall color and dark hand scraped wood floors have a perfect contrast and is stunning. I love throughout the house, as you go into each room it feels bright and open especially in rooms with little natural light.
This perfectly staged gallery wall is one of my favorite features. It has a mix of family pictures, monogram and mirror to add to the beauty of the board and batten wall.
The gold knobs and drawer pulls used in the kitchen to give it a vintage feel and add a bit of color.
The simple wooden desk is all the work space you need as most of us only use tablets or laptops. I love how open it makes the room yet it's so simple.
