Girly Gold, Teal and Pink Bedroom

Now that my daughter is two, she's practically a woman. If you have a sassy two-year-old you know what I mean, its just a phase, right? Anyhow, it was time to decide on a full or queen sized bed. I ended up going with a queen size for the following reasons:

1. She has a rather large bedroom and fit in the space perfectly.
2. I wanted to have a real bed for guests when they came to visit.
3. It would give her more room to roll around and hopefully not fall off in the night. For the record, she's already fallen off a few times.
4. More room for jumping, this one was Jade's idea.

If you're wondering where I got this adorable lot, here's the scoop. The chandelier is from Home Depot and is actually made of plastic. It was a steal at only $99! I think for a child's room it was perfect. For her bed and bedding I wanted to use gold, teal and pink. The nail trim headboard was actually from a local outlet store found for $89!!! I found similar ones on Wayfair.com just not at that price. The bedding was from HomeGoods around $40 and the pillows were from Ross and Target and cost between $12-$24.

The star of this room is most definitely the gallery wall. I have been collecting art, canvas quotes, trinkets, spray painting everything in gold glitter and handmade banner to make the white walls pop. I LOVE how it turned out!
