Thanksgiving Table and Menu

Here is the menu that I used for Thanksgiving this year. It was nice to have one printed off while we cooked and another one displayed. It was a collaboration of ideas from our family friend Nate and myself. Nate is one of my husbands best friends and went to culinary school at UVU, he currently works as the head baker at Kneaders here in Utah.  For june PDF click here.

The table decorations were very simple but came together quite elegantly. I was able to use the plates, cups, silverware and dinner napkins I had on hand. I already had the pilgrims and candle sticks. Listed below is everything else I bought for the table.

The brown placemats, green garland, faux pears and pomegranates came from the Dollar Tree - $22

The white pumpkins are from Target - $10 each

Fabric for table cloth at Joanns - $35 (with coupon)

Table runner from Bed Bath & Beyond - $5 (on sale)

To drink we served sparkling pear, cranberry juice and water. I like pear juice because it has an astringent quality in the aftertaste and it complemented all of the food well.

I made the place settings and printed them on pearl colored card stock to make it feel a bit more classy (FREE template below.)
You should be able to copy and paste this onto your word processor horizontally. Add the names of your guests in an elegant scroll font, cut and fold. For place setting PDF click here.
