Want to throw a creative party? Think of that persons most favorite thing and use that as your inspiration. I absolutely loved the idea of throwing a sports themed party for this fortieth birthday! I think every detail turned out just perfect. This party was a home run!
I want to take you through every detail, because so much time and thought went into every aspect of this event. The sweets table included; Sporty chocolate covered strawberries, cupcakes with sports toppers, cheesecake pops and the cutest golf ball cake ever!
The centerpieces at each table focused on a different sport to add to the theme. Some frames and childhood sport pictures added a personal touch.
The menu included: Hotdogs, chili, a nacho cheese fountain, chips, dessert, fruit and veggies.
One really cute detail was all the beverages were served in ice chests.
Sports ribbon was added to the glass of our candy bar to make it more sporty. This table was one of the biggest hits of the party.
These sporty paper lanterns were to die for! I think they added the perfect touch while tying everything together. This party was so much fun to work on! The bar for 40th birthday parties has been set high!
