DIY Hardwood

Since I've been on the home renovation kick I thought I would share some more DIY hardwood pictures with all of you!



But first things first, in all of the excitement I forgot to take a photo of the before with furniture so here is one without it. You can even see that the carpet on the right was being ripped out when I made my husband put it back for the picture. He loves me :)

As you can see the carpet was pretty trashed, so I was a little more than thrilled when I had the wood put down. I actually said "It feels like this is what belonged in this room! Why did we wait so long to do this?" 

Here is the room from another angle. I spy a cute white Chihuahua sun bathing!

One thing to note: Hardwood shows dust, slobber and anything else that would not be as noticeable by carpet. So there is a cleaning commitment that comes with hardwood :) Check out the wood flooring in my master bedroom here.
