Sweet Girl Baby Shower

I was recently going through my photo archives and wanted to post this party done by me a few years ago. I threw a "Sweet Baby Girl" themed baby shower for my little sister and really wanted it to be special. This shower was done way before I owned a DSLR so I apologize about the quality of these photos taken with a flip phone.

I made this square banner to hang over the mantle and hung it with a thin pink ribbon that read "it's a girl". I used Martha Stewart glitter and glue over printed letters to give it a textured look.

The main table was inspired by a table found on eat.drink.pretty's blog. Shown below. I wanted everything on it to go with the pink theme and had it not been freezing out side I would have had it out there.

Here are some of the favor boxes and pink treats that were for guests to take. I also had cellophane bags for each guest to fill up and take home with them.

The Cake was vanilla and strawberry cheesecake filled with homemade buttercream. The decorations were a combination of buttercream and fondant. I also made cake pops from the trimmings of the cake. I dipped them in white chocolate and covered them in pink pearl sprinkles.

Everything was really cute and it was so nice to have everyone there to celebrate my sisters new baby girl.
